Picture

This September, the Jazz Record Art Collective will feature the music of Max Roach, one of the most influential drummers and jazz musicians of all time. Each Wednesday in September a different group will perform a Max Roach album live as a showcased visual artist does a live painting of the band.
JRAC performances are at Fulton Street Collective, our new gallery space is located at 1821 West Hubbard Street. Each Wednesday in September a new lineup of jazz musicians and painters perform and respond to a different Max Roach album.

Dana & the group did a fantastic job presenting & interpreting the music from this album. It is one of my favorites with some really great musicians featured. Thanks!!
