ALBUM BACKGROUND: “Ornette Coleman reunites with longtime friend and bassist Charlie Haden to create a beautiful duo album entitled soapsuds. This record was recorded at The Hit Factory in New York City, January 30th, 1977. It features compositions by Coleman and Haden with Coleman playing tenor saxophone and trumpet.
