 | July 16 Jazz Record Art Collective presents Hank Mobley's WORKOUT, presented by the Juli Wood quintet. Showcased art and live painting is from Brian Golden. Juli Wood's band includes Tom Vaitsis on piano, Alejandro Uzagaste on guitar, Dennis Carroll on bass, Greg Artry on drums. Hank Mobley's WORKOUT is consider one of "har bops" essential recordings and features musicians Grant Green, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. Performance is at the Fulton Street Collective at 2000 W. Fulton Street. Performance time is 8:30pm with doors at 7PM. Cost is suggested donation of $10, $6 for students with ID.
